Tata 1mg sits on one of India’s richest healthcare datasets — medicine purchasing trends aggregated across millions of users nationwide, with the potential to predict future disease patterns at a population level. As a consultant through Tufts University, my core work was defining monetization strategy for this data dashboard. I identified and structured B2B revenue streams targeting three key buyer segments: pharmaceutical companies looking for demand signals and market intelligence, CROs needing real-world patient behavior data for research, and insurance providers seeking predictive risk modeling inputs. I built data-driven operational models and scenario analyses quantifying a 32% cost-efficiency improvement, developed an 18-month product roadmap, and presented the full commercial strategy to stakeholders to support platform expansion decisions.
