TU20 Valkyrie

The TU20 Valkyrie was Team Uttejit’s Formula Student hybrid race car built for the 2020 ISIE Formula Imperial competition — a season the team won outright, claiming the Formula Imperial Championship alongside 1st place for best design report and best business and cost report. As Head of Design and Manufacturing, I led a cross-functional team of 40+ engineers spanning mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing disciplines. I was responsible for the full design and build lifecycle of the car — from subsystem architecture and component design to manufacturing coordination, integration, and pre-competition testing. Managing a team of this scale as an undergraduate required balancing technical precision with project coordination, ensuring every subsystem was reliable and competition-ready before race day.
